The 1977 WOW! SIGNAL - SOS or Warning from an extraterrestrial (ET) intelligence?

I have always been fascinated with the WOW! Signal of 1977. On face value it looks like the only hardcore evidence of extraterrestrial (ET) intelligence contact, that we really have. I wonder if now is a good time to try and reach out again and quit being so passive in the research.
I am not a scientist, a technologist for past 30 years (Troubleshooting, building, protecting IT systems) and I think not enough is being done to actively reach out for ET contact.
What am I basing my thoughts on - nothing but my intuition/consciousness (Psi). I feel the WOW radio signal was more than random noise but a SOS call or warning. Maybe something was discovered and just not publicly disclosed? That’s not farfetched, that even a coverup occurred in hindsight!
The last know attempt to respond was reported by Space.com:
“On August 15, 2012, National Geographic and Arecibo Observatory broadcast roughly 10,000 Twitter messages and video messages as a public “Wow! reply” project. The intent was symbolic: a response on the 35th anniversary of the 1977 signal. the messages were aimed as a response to the Wow! Signal, which came from the direction of Sagittarius.”

The shape of the radio wave was— smoothly rising and falling intensity over the observation window.
It also mirrored how a fixed-dish telescope would see a real distant source as Earth rotated, arguing against simple terrestrial interference.
It remains one of the strongest and most-debated unexplained candidate signals in the history of the search for extraterrestrial intelligence.
Where are we now- passive research: Most research of the WOW! Signal has been passive research. However the current standard is: no reply should be sent just because a signal is detected.
SETI principles say a response should not be transmitted:
Until appropriate international consultations occur
Recent SETI Institute releases stress this is a decision for humanity broadly, not one observatory or nation.
Scientists have argued that active messaging should be considered.
Critics of passive SETI (wait and receive) argue:
We’ve been listening for decades.
Earth has already leaked radio and radar signals into space.
Advanced civilizations may also be listening rather than transmitting.
If everyone only listens, nobody talks.

However, maybe NOW is a good time to reach out again, based on the energy emitting from “The Disclosure Day” movie (just in case) and the thousands of ET/UAP/UFO/NHI eye witnesses to the fact we are not alone here on earth. Things seem different now. Also PSI phenomenon needs to added into this research ASAP

LISTEN - Maybe it’s now time to reach out to the galaxy in a bigger way and feed on the worlds vibes and awakening to UAPs, NHI, PSI- a new era of consciousness.
